MEGADETH: 'Duck Dodgers' Appearance Pushed Back A Week

MEGADETH's appearance on the "Duck Dodgers" cartoon episode "In Space No One Can Hear You Rock/Ridealong Calamity" on the Boomerang channel (web site) was bumped this weekend for a Scooby Doo marathon to celebrate Halloween, and is now scheduled to air this coming Friday, November 4 at 10:00 p.m. PT. MEGADETH will also appear in the series finale, the title of which was changed to "Bone Fide Heroes", which is now expected to air on November 11.

As previously reported, Mustaine announced at the conclusion of the band's headlining performance in Buenos Aires, Argentina on October 9 that the group's current lineup — which includes bassist James MacDonough, drummer Shawn Drover (EIDOLON) and guitarist Glen Drover (EIDOLON) — will continue to record and tour under the name MEGADETH.

MEGADETH recently completed a South American tour in support of "The System Has Failed", which came out in September 2004. The latest MEGADETH release, "Greatest Hits: Back to the Start" (Capitol),entered the Billboard chart at No. 65 and has sold 102,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
